WilCruise Posted December 16, 2006 #1 Posted December 16, 2006 I've seen a few places that sell kits, but I'd like to get some stainless lines that aren't necessarily standard. Anyone know of a place that sells open stock of stainless lines of various sizes with banjo fittings (reasonably priced ideally) so I can make up my own set(s) or replace pieces as budget allows?
Sweetnothing Posted December 16, 2006 #2 Posted December 16, 2006 I have been told bu a lot of manufacturers they will not sell the lines to you because of the safety regulations of the fittings. I worked in a marine service department, and sometimes we had to replace lines. They won't sell the lines, nor will they put your fittings on a new line. What you have to do is find a place that has your fittings, and have them make the lines for you.
Tartan Terror Posted December 16, 2006 #3 Posted December 16, 2006 Greg, All you have to do is go to JP cycles and they have everything you need. Just get the measurements and you can assemble anything you need
sarges46 Posted December 16, 2006 #4 Posted December 16, 2006 I'm gonna guess that you checked out Ricks very nice cables at buckeyeperformance? He would probably also help you if you chose not to get the "whole" kit.
WilCruise Posted December 16, 2006 Author #5 Posted December 16, 2006 Rick, Yes, I checked Rick's kits @ buckeye. They look good, but I want to do a piece here and a piece there and I'm going to do some mods. Scotty, That's what I was looking for, Guess I have to do the individual fittegs etc. Anyone know if our banjos are 10mm or 12mm? I'm gueswsing 10 but not sure. Thanks
