Flyinfool Posted March 13, 2014 #26 Posted March 13, 2014 There used to be a lighted reflector available that I think had about five 194 incandescent bulbs in it. They are very rare and hard to find and real expensive when you do find them. Here is what I did, http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41588.
Evan Posted March 13, 2014 #27 Posted March 13, 2014 Here is what I did. Major improvement in visibility, including brake lights. Also, very low cost ($40) and easily mounted. In my case, I plugged into my trailer wiring, which was also easy to do.
shmily Posted March 16, 2014 #28 Posted March 16, 2014 Just finished installing the plug and play light from M61A1Mech. I can't express how easy this was to do. The instructions were professionally done and WAY easy to follow. I'd recommend this option to anyone looking to increase their night time visibility. Running lights, brake lights, and turn signals all operate flawlessly. Steve, I owe you a cold one some day when we meet on the road!
M61A1MECH Posted March 16, 2014 #29 Posted March 16, 2014 Sir, I would be happy to sit with you and share an adult beverage one day, Thanks for the kind words and glad to hear that it all worked out as easy as I hoped it would. Ride safe
StarFan Posted March 16, 2014 #30 Posted March 16, 2014 Because of the small tail light on the Venture I am looking for an LED bar that is large enough to mount on the trunk. Although I don't ride much at night I was also considering LED lights to replace all the existing lights. I use Gerbing heated clothing for those cold days so the reduced amperage will help a lot with LEDs. Does anyone know where I can purchase LED lights that are a reasonable cost. When I see $71 for a signal light I shy away. Have a look at the thread I posted today called: Custom Fit Light Bar - http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=84840 Bought the light bar from Super Bright Leds for $29:95 plus shipping. There are pictures of the install in the thread. http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/id-bars/braketurn-light-bar-tlb-r11/1027/2482/

M61A1MECH Posted March 17, 2014 #32 Posted March 17, 2014 Ron , I sent the instructions to you in an email on 3-14, glad you found the connectors, other than having to hunt for the connectors, how was the install? Hard easy anything I can improve on? Anyone doing this install can call me at the number on the invoice and buisness card. Thanks

As what I know from me friend that this product is pretty good so far, so I think maybe it will be useful for you. My first post here, correct me if I am wrong.
Mad Dog Posted April 13, 2014 #34 Posted April 13, 2014 At the risk of reopening this thread, I just wanted to wrap my topic up. I picked up my RSV last Thursday and put M61A1MECH lightbar on it on Saturday, and I just want to say that that installation could not possibly have been more flawless. Very very nice product. Thank you to all who helped me along the way, and especially to M61A1MECH for an incredible job.
