Just heard on the radio while riding to work this morning that some Ford dealer in Wisconsin is giving away a new shotgun with the purchase of a new truck.

So all you cheeseheads need to go get you some.

Not uncommon up here. Every year before deer season, one of the local jewelry stores runs a promo giving away a Benelli shotgun with the purchase of an engagement ring.

Years ago I heard of a bank that sold chances on a Ducks Unlimited type fancy shotgun for a fundraiser. You guessed it, a robber came in with shells, took the gun and loaded it, and robbed the place. Dont know if it was a true story, but it sure sounds good.....

 

So moral of the story, when doing a gun fundraiser, try not to do it in a bank.......

Funny you mentioned .22 ammo, I paid nearly 60bucks on line for a brick and then a week later bought a brick at Gander Mountain for $24.89. Go figure.
