rutman Posted February 28, 2014 #1 Posted February 28, 2014 Just heard on the radio while riding to work this morning that some Ford dealer in Wisconsin is giving away a new shotgun with the purchase of a new truck. So all you cheeseheads need to go get you some.
dacheedah Posted February 28, 2014 #2 Posted February 28, 2014 Damned, I just bought a new to me truck
Flyinfool Posted February 28, 2014 #3 Posted February 28, 2014 Does that Ford dealer sell Chevys? I would never hear the end of it if I ever downgraded to a Ford.....
crazygaucho Posted February 28, 2014 #4 Posted February 28, 2014 not a very clever idea if you think all the issues a Ford may have
RedRider Posted February 28, 2014 #5 Posted February 28, 2014 Not uncommon up here. Every year before deer season, one of the local jewelry stores runs a promo giving away a Benelli shotgun with the purchase of an engagement ring. RR
bongobobny Posted February 28, 2014 #6 Posted February 28, 2014 I've heard of shotgun weddings but that puts a whole new meaning to it...
cowpuc Posted February 28, 2014 #7 Posted February 28, 2014 Around here they oughta be givin away a free shotgun with every brick of .22 shells ya buy!! Shooting my lil Ruger MK1 has become a rich mans game...
bj66 Posted February 28, 2014 #8 Posted February 28, 2014 Years ago I heard of a bank that sold chances on a Ducks Unlimited type fancy shotgun for a fundraiser. You guessed it, a robber came in with shells, took the gun and loaded it, and robbed the place. Dont know if it was a true story, but it sure sounds good..... So moral of the story, when doing a gun fundraiser, try not to do it in a bank.......
Sylvester Posted February 28, 2014 #9 Posted February 28, 2014 Around here they oughta be givin away a free shotgun with every brick of .22 shells ya buy!! Shooting my lil Ruger MK1 has become a rich mans game... Funny you mentioned .22 ammo, I paid nearly 60bucks on line for a brick and then a week later bought a brick at Gander Mountain for $24.89. Go figure.
