MikeWa Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Posted February 27, 2014 I completed the modification to my signal flasher and It works perfectly. I cut the wire loop and inserted the 2 watt 0.33ohm resistor as instructed. The flasher now flashes correctly with the led bulbs. Pretty easy to do. Mike
bongobobny Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Posted February 27, 2014 Cool beans Mike!! I have to do the same mod myself...
Gray Ghost Posted February 27, 2014 #3 Posted February 27, 2014 I did the mod, but your finished product came out cleaner than mine. Good job.
dacheedah Posted February 27, 2014 #4 Posted February 27, 2014 What kind of blinker fluid did you put back in her? Synthetic or dino?
Flyinfool Posted February 27, 2014 #5 Posted February 27, 2014 What kind of blinker fluid did you put back in her? Synthetic or dino? Since you are doing this to convert to modern LEDs, it is obvious that you must also have modern synthetic blinker fluid. DUH!!!!!

M61A1MECH Posted February 27, 2014 #7 Posted February 27, 2014 Don't forgewt that LEDs are polarity sensitive, so make sure you got the forward biased DC compatible blinker fluid, the AC stuff won't work.
MikeWa Posted February 27, 2014 Author #8 Posted February 27, 2014 I used the Asian blinker fluid that came with the LEDs. You just have to remember to poor it in from the bottom. Mike
