Ventureless Posted February 26, 2014 #1 Posted February 26, 2014 Wish I had the time and money to buy a second RSV and turn it into one just like the one in the video. I love everything about this bike. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYPJ-h6Zoow]Yamaha Royal Star Venture 1300 «Delgado» - YouTube[/ame]
OrlinEngh Posted February 26, 2014 #2 Posted February 26, 2014 That is a nice ride, See acouple of things I would like to do to mine. Orlin
rickardracing Posted February 26, 2014 #3 Posted February 26, 2014 That is one sharp ride!! I love the look.
etcswjoe Posted February 26, 2014 #4 Posted February 26, 2014 Hope mine looks that good when I get around to finishing, If I ever stop riding it long enough to wrok on it.
bongobobny Posted February 26, 2014 #5 Posted February 26, 2014 Interesting color! Nice highlighting! Looks like "What the motorcycle looks like after the divorce..."
naturbar Posted February 26, 2014 #6 Posted February 26, 2014 very nicely done...... or buy a harley...just sayin'
Flyinfool Posted February 26, 2014 #7 Posted February 26, 2014 It would take forever to get all of the chrome off that is spoiling the looks .......
Eck Posted February 26, 2014 #9 Posted February 26, 2014 sharp ride for sure, but I would have to turn the exhaust tips downward to keep the rain /water out of them and I would think they would go with saddlebag line better and would be in same configuration as the rear turn signal chrome covers. just my opinion here...
DarrinGT Posted February 26, 2014 #10 Posted February 26, 2014 Yup, That is a Beautiful Bike! Love the color. Only thing I would like is to paint the motor fins the same color as the bike as well,,,but even with out that, I would still ride it! lol,..
rutman Posted February 26, 2014 #11 Posted February 26, 2014 Nice. But I'd have to ditch the white walls.
Barry1951 Posted February 26, 2014 #13 Posted February 26, 2014 Real nice looking scooter, , , , love the color and striping. I had those same pipes on my 06 TD when I bought it and I HATE THEM !!!! Way too loud and "yappy". I took the off as soon as I could find some HD RK mufflers to replace them with.
Venturous Randy Posted February 26, 2014 #14 Posted February 26, 2014 Those pipes look like they would be hard on your ankles. RandyA
cowpuc Posted February 26, 2014 #15 Posted February 26, 2014 Gorgeous, just plain GORGEOUS!! I'd put my sleeping bag next to that on Sturgis Mainstreet ANY TIME!!!! I never personally cared for "fake" pipe tips BUT if they were true 4/4 pipes all the way back - OH YEA!! Next I would have "MY LADY" airbrushed on the tank, I'd than get er a personalized plate with her name on it.... Her and I would become inseparable!! :cool10: That is one sharp bike!!
WildBill1 Posted February 26, 2014 #16 Posted February 26, 2014 I built this from a 99 Venture a couple years ago. The owner is a member here goes by FoyerBoy. It was a labor of love.

Carbon_One Posted February 27, 2014 #18 Posted February 27, 2014 A set of Mike's Diamond Cut Fins would really set it off too. Larry
Nemo Posted February 27, 2014 #19 Posted February 27, 2014 I like the chrome trim around the lower wind guards (or whatever they're called). Anyone know where to get them?
slowrollwv Posted February 27, 2014 #20 Posted February 27, 2014 That trim is auto door edge trim. You can get it at any auto parts store.
cowpuc Posted February 27, 2014 #21 Posted February 27, 2014 I like the chrome trim around the lower wind guards (or whatever they're called). Anyone know where to get them? Ventureless Posted February 27, 2014 Author #22 Posted February 27, 2014 It would take forever to get all of the chrome off that is spoiling the looks ....... I agree it would be that much better for me if the chrome was all black instead. But I still love that bike and wouldn't turn it down.
Ventureless Posted February 27, 2014 Author #23 Posted February 27, 2014 Nice. But I'd have to ditch the white walls. I think the white walls help make the make. At least on that bike with those colors and the way it is set up.
Ventureless Posted February 27, 2014 Author #24 Posted February 27, 2014 or buy a harley...just sayin' I want a bike that looks good and runs!!!
