Of all the diaphragms available for the 1st gens which one should I get?

I got my diaphragms from Canada from the thread from the top of the page in the sticky. They have worked very well. But when I click on that link, it will not come up. Will it come up for anyone else?

The diaphragms from JBM and Sirius both do seem to work just fine.

The JBM do require permanent alteration of the slider. While this not be an issue now, IF JBM ever goes out of business or stops making these diaphragms, you will be buying new slides to be able to go back to an OEM type setup.

 

The Diaphragms from Sirius are direct OEM replacement with no alterations. IF Sirius ever goes out of business or stops making these diaphragms, it would still be a simple conversion to the JBM diaphragms in the future.

 

On an old bike I do not like to limit my options for future repair parts. Of course this is only my own personal uneducated opinion.
