Guest rainearc Posted March 3, 2008 #1 Posted March 3, 2008 I am interested in adding headsets to the 07 RSV I got about a month ago. I checked J&M and Yama and the price seems high. I use a shorty type helmet. Can anyone help me? Carl Rainear 07 Venture
Freebird Posted March 3, 2008 #2 Posted March 3, 2008 Go to http://www.sierra-mc.com They sell J&M cheaper than J&M and also some other brands.
Guest rainearc Posted March 3, 2008 #3 Posted March 3, 2008 I got your message and looked them up and called and ordered a set. I am grateful. Thank you! Carl
mini-muffin Posted March 3, 2008 #4 Posted March 3, 2008 Sorry I missed this post you could have gotten them cheaper at wingstuff.com http://www.wingstuff.com/pgroup_detail/2310_J_M_HS8154_Headset_for_Goldwing_w_1Piece_Cord Margaret
Freebird Posted March 4, 2008 #5 Posted March 4, 2008 Not true...they are .99 cent cheaper at Sierra. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=JM%2DHS%2D8154%2DOF
Wizard765 Posted March 4, 2008 #6 Posted March 4, 2008 Don is right: Sierra dropped the price about a day after I ordered from Wingstuff and I'm still waiting for that order to show up. It's almost 3 weeks now. Wayne
eagleeye Posted March 4, 2008 #7 Posted March 4, 2008 I would have told you to buy Edsets. I've had and used them for a year or so, and love them. Steve
silvercrew Posted March 4, 2008 #8 Posted March 4, 2008 I ordered some parts from sierra for my intergratr and it only took about a week and a half to get to Alberta. I thought about the edsets but I am not sure if they will work with the intergratr or not.
DkKnight Posted March 4, 2008 #9 Posted March 4, 2008 I ordered the new Symax II and an elite headset from Sierra and got them in 3 days. Great service and the price for the headset was about what J&M quoted. Sierra had the helmet I wanted for a bit more than I could have picked it up elsewhere on line, but I am all about one stop shopping if I can. They did a great job on the install... for the additional 10 bucks it was worth it.

Wayne I dont mean to be a bearer of bad news....you are gonna be po'd when you get your bill from wingstuff.....brokerage fee is close to 40 bucks....go ahead and ask me how I know sierra at least uses regular mail.
