Just-Jack Posted March 3, 2008 #1 Posted March 3, 2008 Such as getting on this Harley.I was not there to witness this bad situation but thank goodness my daughter brought the camera to witness this awful event. The weather is starting to get warmer and I know that a lot of us are just itching to get out there to do some riding...this is what my husband does when he is not surpevised...... THis is another reason why he dont go out and play that often at my brother in laws house with out the watchiful eye of momma Jessie
Guest Popeye Posted March 3, 2008 #2 Posted March 3, 2008 If streets are dry....where is problem? Poor Jack. From what I've seen on the weather channel.......streets ain't dry.
Just-Jack Posted March 3, 2008 Author #3 Posted March 3, 2008 thank goodness there was still plenty of ice on the back roads or he would of been out riding this bike........
Sweetnothing Posted March 3, 2008 #4 Posted March 3, 2008 Jess, Slap that man up side the head, and ask him....what was he thinking!?!? :rotf:
mbrood Posted March 3, 2008 #5 Posted March 3, 2008 I, personally, don't think that string tied to the back of his coat is going to hold him back... Now if he was on a second gen Venture... (hee... har...)
Marcarl Posted March 3, 2008 #6 Posted March 3, 2008 Looks to me like he was thinking: Now why would anyone want to ride this, when the could be riding a VENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cerviperus Posted March 3, 2008 #7 Posted March 3, 2008 Looks to me like he was thinking: Now why would anyone want to ride this, when the could be riding a VENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I sat on one one time, a Sportster, and wondered the same thing. Dang seat felt like nothing more than a brick covered in leather. I guess they help keep companies like Corbin in business.
dray Posted March 3, 2008 #8 Posted March 3, 2008 Ya!!! two minutes on that puppy in the barn and you'd swear you road a week on your venture:stirthepot: Dray
Gene-b Posted March 3, 2008 #9 Posted March 3, 2008 Be carfull you could loose your footing on one of those oil drips under that thing! Gene
Just-Jack Posted March 3, 2008 Author #10 Posted March 3, 2008 Looks to me like he was thinking: Now why would anyone want to ride this, when the could be riding a VENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He says that he was thinking about his venture when he was on it and how would we take another trip when last year he (brother in law) asked us to change our pipes for our road trip to mississippi.
Yammer Dan Posted March 3, 2008 #11 Posted March 3, 2008 Don't look bad but that floor under it tells a tale!!
Eugene Posted March 3, 2008 #12 Posted March 3, 2008 Hey - don't smoke on that thing - the fumes escaping are combustible!!!
Guest Popeye Posted March 4, 2008 #13 Posted March 4, 2008 Don't look bad but that floor under it tells a tale!! I wasn't going to say anything about that, but it sure brought back memories of my Harleys.
eagleeye Posted March 4, 2008 #14 Posted March 4, 2008 Sounds like somone has a whining wife. He should be so lucky to take the harley out for a ride. He'd love it! I have 3 yamahas now, also have had 3 harleys, loved them. Hey, like I always say: THE BEST BIKE IS THE BIKE YOU LIKE! Gotta love em all. Steve
