CMCOFFEY Posted February 23, 2014 #1 Posted February 23, 2014 I went out to my bike this morning to ride into church and the bike started and ran for a few moments and then it died. I tried and tried to get it to start. Finally i left and got in the mini van with my Christian Biker shirt on. Half way to church it hits me...petcock. I have been riding for 9 years and have done this one time before.
RedRider Posted February 23, 2014 #2 Posted February 23, 2014 Why turn it off? Did you have the tank off? Just make sure you move it to reserve periodically to keep the seals wet. Other than that, I just leave it on. RR
Yammer Dan Posted February 23, 2014 #3 Posted February 23, 2014 I just went thur that!! Had gotten so used to forgetting about it I shut it off on the 2nd gen....cranked battery dead. Once I learned to start that thing it starts up Great and Growls like it wants to get out!!!
uncledj Posted February 23, 2014 #4 Posted February 23, 2014 The one that gets me every once in a while on my first gen is when I accidentally hit the stop button and it takes me a minute or two to figure why it won't crank when I try to start it.
