walked into the local "INTERSTATE BATTERY ",THIEVERYSHIP THIS MORNING ON A WHIM.

asked about a gel cell battery for my '86. salesman said we don't stock them, but i can order you one for $146.00.

another sales person, said "odyssey makes one for them also.".i gave them the odyssey part # and they had ONE in stock, that was "ordered by mistake."

anyhow i got out the door with it for $89.00!

now my question, is, do i charge it in the wet cell mode, or agm mode?

help please.

Good price, there.

AGM mode, as it is an AGM battery, full automatic charge. Check while charging as specified, then 12.0-12.1v with charger off is a full charge....DO NOT USE IF LESS THAN 12.0v. Batery charger needs to be at least 6 amp for the pc680.

 

"Compressed AGM Plate Separators: Before being inserted into the case, the Absorbed Glass Mat plate separators are compressed by 28% for extreme vibration resistance."
