The Mexican President, the U.S. President & the Canadian Prime Minister. Obama and Harper had a bet for 2 cases of beer on the hockey game. Canada won........"Take that Obama!" Is what he was implying......A JOKE! Nothing at all about all Americans being like Obama.....lighten up! We love you guys And if the bet had of been with Rob Ford it would have been for a Kilo of coke not a case of beer!

I also stated I am politically neutral and don't really care who won.....I merely wanted to state that I thought it was an exciting game. I like sports for the sake of the game, to appreciate the skill involved. Like someone said...it's a game! but like so many other things, big business and the pursuit of the almighty dollar, along with the divisions that nationalism causes spoils the fun. Are americans better than canadians or canadians better than russians just because one or the other is on the wrong side of a dotted line on a map? The comments on this thread just show how "testy" some can get about it. Can't we just enjoy the game?

Yelling and screaming at the teams and acting like we actually had something to do with the win but never the loss. It is over when it is over, time runs out. Hurrah for the winner and better luck next time for the loser. Remember these guys are all pro's and play against each other all the time. Pride in country, I get it, enjoy!!!!!! Who ever you are.!
