My Hot Tub heater is taking several day to heat up the water. It went up 2 degrees in 24 hours. It is at 93 degrees just need 10 more degrees.

Anyone now what I need to replace?

Not trying to be a smart a$$ with that, but you're gonna need a good one for diagnosing a tub. Is it a 110, or 220 tub? It would also help a TON if you could send a pic of the topside control AND a good definition photo of the area where your spa-pack (heater tube/circuit board), and pump are. Ive rebuilt several tubs, and I'll help all I can.

Most likely you'll find you have a bad heating element. How old is the tub? was the heater ever replaced before ? They are easy to replace if you have gate valves to isolate the heater tube, otherwise you'll need to drain the tub. Is the topside display showing any error codes? Could be the temp sensor is bad.

Mine pops cb. Last time I replaced the heatelement. Now cb is poped agin 2-3 yr later. I havent got around to trouble shoot it. I just discon the element and see if breaker will stay. Sounds like yours could be on way out.

I've had this happen and it was the heating element. Can be found online and it was less than $30. I ordered 2 so I was ready the next time. Also can be found at the local pool/spa store.

Great prices and service from these people. Their tech people will also provide info on the proper parts and directions. I replaced a heating element in my 500 gal hot tub. Took about an hour.
