Blinker Posted February 14, 2014 #1 Posted February 14, 2014 One fork will not hold pressure. one stays normal 4lbs the other will not take air, well it will take it, but I can watch the gauge slowly loose it to zero. I hit the front brake hard and there's a noticeable click or pop so I got the progressive pump figuring it might need some air although the manual says zero but anyway...... blown bladder or seal? Don't know enough so I always count on the VR group to point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance....
steamer Posted February 15, 2014 #2 Posted February 15, 2014 Did you check to see if the Schrader valve is leaking? There is no bladder in the fork, just an o-ring that seals the top cap. could be a bad o-ring
Flyinfool Posted February 15, 2014 #3 Posted February 15, 2014 Is it leaking oil at all? If its not leaking oil, then your air leak is at the top. Either the Schrader valve or the cap seal. Some soapy water may help find it.
Blinker Posted February 15, 2014 Author #4 Posted February 15, 2014 I will check the top....thank you for the direction!!!!!!!!
