Peder_y2k Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 (edited) Gonna be working on water pump on my '88VR XVZ1300DU that should have the metal impeller. QUESTION: Is it more practical to disassemble the pump first to determine what parts are actually required, OR, get new parts before taking it apart? Now after studying the parts list I find: 11H-12438-00-00 SEAL, MECHANICAL $28.74 1 PART OBSOLETE So now what, is there a substitute? -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA Edited February 13, 2014 by Peder_y2k new informtion
rbig1 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I ordered my parts from parts monster if you look at different years same # its a good part number. and behind number is a link to new part numbers. mine was a 83 year ordered all parts available. now turn on the heat so I can work on it. lol
