Atoolnut Posted February 10, 2014 #1 Posted February 10, 2014 This was a tragic and unnecessary crash that killed a friend and seriously injured his wife at their retirement residence in the sun....2 lives lost..and Texas justice??? http://www.valleycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=1004170 Seems once again motorcyclists must pause for the loss of a friend and riding companion..
cowpuc Posted February 10, 2014 #2 Posted February 10, 2014 Indeed,, what a tragic and horrible thing to happen!! Condolences and prayers to all involved.. Terrible, just plain terrible!!!
Bert2006 Posted February 10, 2014 #3 Posted February 10, 2014 Tragic but this one is also infuriating...2 lives lost because 1 person drove distracted:mad:
darthandy Posted February 10, 2014 #4 Posted February 10, 2014 Mr. Girard was a member of our local GWRRA chapter. He was a great guy and a good member and will be missed. What is even more tragic is that his wife also died in a motorcycle accident some years ago. Perhaps an IQ test should be made mandatory for obtaining a drivers licence. At least we would know that the person is capable of logical thought (Knowing, of course, that there is no guarantee they actually will think.). Andy
MikeWa Posted February 11, 2014 #5 Posted February 11, 2014 Many of us have been momentarily distracted while driving. And have been fortunate nothing serious happened. This time the result was tragic. My heart goes out to all of those involved. Mike
