Trader Posted February 16, 2014 #59 Posted February 16, 2014 I retired when I was 54 It's great being young enough to enjoy things...but going early means a smaller pension so we really have to watch the pennies. But who cares! I'M FREE!!!! WHOOOOOOO Now get out there and get the health issues under control so you can enjoy your retirement properly!

dogman Posted February 26, 2014 #64 Posted February 26, 2014 Congratulations in your Retirement. You sound positive with your health concerns, and as others have said we will be praying for you. Start your living right away and all the best.
N3FOL Posted February 26, 2014 #65 Posted February 26, 2014 Congratulations Skid! You deserve it after working all these years. As far as your health, you shall overcome that. Just like my dad, he retired 9 years ago and he said it is one of his best decision in life. He battled prostrate cancer right after retirement and now is enjoying retirement life to the fullest. He goes back home to the Phillipines every year for 2 months. I get jealous time to time. Again, enjoy your golden years.
