DragonRider Posted February 10, 2014 #51 Posted February 10, 2014 With all the prayers for you, your family, your doctors, and this new drug, I have no doubt that you will beat this thing, your fairly young, in pretty good shape for a guy turning 50. So after you got it beat and your retirement begins, how long before you start making a road trip down to Newnan and visit with us. Plenty of room for you and Leslie. The door is open any time day or nite. And Charlene can definitely put some of those pounds back on you with some of her Cajun cooking, I can promise that, just look what it did to me, Muffinman and Dokon can attest to it also. She puts a few pounds on them every time they come down.
Skid Posted February 10, 2014 #52 Posted February 10, 2014 Sounds great Lew. I always wanted to tour around the swamp areas. Keep the light on.
Yammer Dan Posted February 11, 2014 Author #53 Posted February 11, 2014 I'm hoping the "Man" don't get tired of hearing me.
cowpuc Posted February 11, 2014 #54 Posted February 11, 2014 I'm hoping the "Man" don't get tired of hearing me. I recall reading a parable once that said something like this: because of her persistence in asking she received what she was asking for.... For some reason my gear headed brain translated that into: the squeaky wheel gets the grease!! Been doing a LOT of squeaking on Skids behave myself Dan!!
Flip Posted February 11, 2014 #56 Posted February 11, 2014 God hears and answers prayers. God bless both of you.

cowpuc Posted February 11, 2014 #58 Posted February 11, 2014 Hey you guys, I just had an epiphany,, what if we set a particular day/time to pray/moment of silence/think positive thoughts (what ever any who wants to participate is comfortable with) on Skids behalf? Kinda one BIG petition all at once!! We could pick an exact day and a exact time to do it, sort of flood the market (so to speak).. Picture it,,, 11,000 VR 's rooting for our hurting brother all at once!!!
