As I do every year I went in to http://www.warrenharleydavidson.com/event_calendar.asp?loadpage=no&date=1%2F5%2F2012 to claim my T shirt. Never wore one but I like messing with them by riding a Metric in on the coldest day I can in January. THEy said it was 16 My Weather Underground said 6 none the less, my bike barely even turned a quarter of a crank and started! Off I went! Tried to video some of it because it was icy, but the camera recorded about 5 seconds and then said Temperature too cold to operate or something to that effect. So after the 5 mile ride over there I was still like toasty so I decided to ride around a bit. Lots of looks. Had on Bhon Armor and Heated gloves. Full face with open visor.

I should have went the day it was like 10 below. Didnt see FREEBIRDS name on the rider list, ONLY two more days!

 

Winter Warrior is a HD event you ride in during the Month and register for a few big prizes, and give up your T shirt size, they order the shirts at the end of the event, then you come back to pick it up. Then there is a party at a local watering hole, if you win you get the prize, if you are present at the party prize doubles. Local Yamaha shop topped em last year gave away hoodies one day to anyone who liked them on FB and came in, on bike or not.

Very cool indeed. I would have liked to have done that. I've been out of town most of the month though and even if I wasn't, there is way too much salt on the roads right now.

Well If i had my Roadstar back together, you could have rode that in from my house. Next year. Soon as it warms up, Im going to re start the operating table.
