BradT Posted January 29, 2014 #26 Posted January 29, 2014 I thought it was because the Moderator Mr. Owl was watching the posts.
Grolli Posted January 29, 2014 #28 Posted January 29, 2014 Hello. I am also a lurker.. I only jump in when I feel it directly applies. I too have grabbed much needed info with my first gen, so thanks to all. And for those who I have PM'd for more info (Skydoc the most..), thank you for not telling me to shove off. John
Marcarl Posted January 29, 2014 #29 Posted January 29, 2014 Be nice iffn we could get a word in edgewise, but some post so much, it's hard to get in before the quota. Keep it up Puc, just remember the rest of us,,, oh ya, you just did.

yankeereb Posted January 29, 2014 #31 Posted January 29, 2014 I don't post very often but I do read a lot. I have been diagnosed with "Relapsing Polychondritis". That is an autoimmune disease that attacks and destroys the cartilage of various tissues of the body. We finally have it under control. I plan to put a side car on the bike so we can keep riding. Good news is my wife and I have retired. We bought a farm in Mountain View, Mo and are selling our house in Grain Valley, MO. We are in the process of moving to the farm to enjoy the country life.

Guest tx2sturgis Posted January 29, 2014 #34 Posted January 29, 2014 I have to admit Puc, I thought this thread would die on the vine...turns out there are at least a few members sitting on the fence waiting to add something... Good on ya sir!
Flyinfool Posted January 29, 2014 #35 Posted January 29, 2014 I used to chat with you cowpuc on chat. How come you never come on any more? Guest tx2sturgis Posted January 29, 2014 #36 Posted January 29, 2014 Boring? Whips. Chains. Jello shots. The boots that go all the way up. Boring? We need to get chat revived again, I miss it. Careful...the immods will be all over that like...whipped cream on....wait....now you got ME doing it!
Trader Posted January 29, 2014 #37 Posted January 29, 2014 You all should just be thankful I don't post more. You may notice that I don't comment much on the technical stuff. That's because I might do a job and actually be successful at it...but a week later don't ask me how I did it because I probably won't remember. So I just add my here and there....try to incite a smile or two and that's about it. I post too much to be a lurker....but Hi anyway!
Yammer Dan Posted January 29, 2014 #38 Posted January 29, 2014 Chat at 8??Unless I'm in garage or there is a ball game of Warden is feeling...well or I'm eating or.............
buddy Posted January 29, 2014 #39 Posted January 29, 2014 there are times I don't post because some of the threads are waste of time because someone is bored and just want to talk about nothing as you can tell I don't post much any more
Trader Posted January 29, 2014 #40 Posted January 29, 2014 I just thought I post into one of those threads that are are waste of time because I'm bored and just want to talk about nothing
Sailor Posted January 29, 2014 #41 Posted January 29, 2014 "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt" Mark Twain, I believe. I am not a lurker, merely an innocent bystander. I enjoy all the info here but have little I can add.
rickardracing Posted January 29, 2014 #42 Posted January 29, 2014 Some things just do not deserve a response. Some things I read just for the info but have nothing needed added by me.
etcswjoe Posted January 29, 2014 #43 Posted January 29, 2014 It’s all actually a big government conspiracy precipitated by a secret sect of the illuminati .
mm482 Posted January 29, 2014 #44 Posted January 29, 2014 I get on just about every day to see what is going on in the Venture family. I would post more but when I say things through my keyboard, my keyboard does not say it like I want to say it. I wish we had a like button!!! Earl
Goose68 Posted January 29, 2014 #45 Posted January 29, 2014 I check and read on here every day, but hardly ever make a commit. I am trying to soak in all the (BS) I mean wisdom that is said on here everyday.
steamer Posted January 29, 2014 #46 Posted January 29, 2014 Boring? Whips. Chains. Jello shots. The boots that go all the way up. Boring? We need to get chat revived again, I miss it. Pictures, we need pictures!
Black Owl Posted January 29, 2014 #47 Posted January 29, 2014 Some things just do not deserve a response. Some things I read just for the info but have nothing needed added by me. As a FWIW. Back in the dark days before the BC event, I would make it a point to acknowledge every post. Primarily to let the poster know that someone was reading what they were saying regardless of the topic or content. But then, we were a different group back in the day.
Guest tx2sturgis Posted January 29, 2014 #48 Posted January 29, 2014 I wish we had a like button!!! Earl On some forums it's common practice to 'like' a post by placing a +1 after quoting the post you like. Feel free to start a trend here!
SilvrT Posted January 29, 2014 #49 Posted January 29, 2014 "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt" Mark Twain, I believe. and it is for that reason I have been lurking more than posting lately ...
Flyinfool Posted January 30, 2014 #50 Posted January 30, 2014 I get on just about every day to see what is going on in the Venture family. I would post more but when I say things through my keyboard, my keyboard does not say it like I want to say it. I wish we had a like button!!! Earl On some forums it's common practice to 'like' a post by placing a +1 after quoting the post you like. Feel free to start a trend here! We do have a button, It is labeled "Thanks" and is in the lower right corner of every post, except for your own posts. Pictures, we need pictures! I guess you will have to spend more time in chat......
