BigLenny Posted January 27, 2014 #1 Posted January 27, 2014 Don't know if y'all watched the Grammys last night, but I got one thing to say; Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson need to give up the stage. It was sad and funny. Thank goodness Merle and Blake came out and saved them. LOL.
Phoneman1981 Posted January 27, 2014 #2 Posted January 27, 2014 I tend to agree with you. Others were not to hot either....
hellboy7 Posted January 27, 2014 #3 Posted January 27, 2014 I was surprised by the James Bond Skyfall theater win too... I liked their musical scores but man a grammy... I feel like that movie is soooooo old.
djh3 Posted January 28, 2014 #4 Posted January 28, 2014 Kris seemed to get a little better the more they played but still. UGH Reminded me of the last time Glenn Campbel was on a TV stage. Man it was hard to watch. I never really though Wille was all that great a singer anyways. But if they would have performed with some of that rap syntho goober music nobody would have been the wiser.
Mike G in SC Posted January 28, 2014 #5 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I watched the game. Well,,, it watched me in the 4th,,,zzzzzz. Kristofferson ain't done much right after he fooled around on Rita Coolidge (Who Leon Russell wrote a song, Delta Lady about). IMOH. Guess the game wasn't so bad. Guest Swifty Posted January 28, 2014 #6 Posted January 28, 2014 it looked like we could ride in on our bikes, walk in with our helmets on, and feel right at home in the audience.

I did not know that's the origin of Delta Lady. I think the best performance of the Grammy's was Pink, again.
chabicheka Posted January 28, 2014 #8 Posted January 28, 2014 Was enjoying the the show till suddenly found myself in the middle of a few weddings going on...i think... Not having received an invitation to the weddings, i thought it only fair to leave, and i went to bed.
stevej Posted January 28, 2014 #9 Posted January 28, 2014 Pink's performance was great, she sounds as good in a live performance as on the polished up studio recordings. I think that Lorde has a great voice that is as good live as the recordings. So many of the live performances, Willie and Kris' performance being one of them, did not sound anything like what comes out of the studio.
BigLenny Posted January 28, 2014 Author #10 Posted January 28, 2014 Pink scared the crap outta me. I was worried the whole time that she was gonna fall, LOL. She obviously has some gymnastics in her background.
Daveand Barbie Posted January 28, 2014 #11 Posted January 28, 2014 I wish Robin Thicke didn't get in the way of Chicago. He was so full of himself, out of place, and outclassed in that performance.
djh3 Posted January 29, 2014 #12 Posted January 29, 2014 Have to say Pink is probably one of my "new" favorite singers. She kind of reminds me of Janis Joplin. Hearty and soulful. You can understand what she is singing to boot.
ediddy Posted January 30, 2014 #13 Posted January 30, 2014 When I think it can't get any worse it does. The grammys were pure trash. I saw different segments of the the grammys on the news the next day. Was madonna dressed like colonel Sanders or Boss Hog. Pure Trash.
