Don't know if y'all watched the Grammys last night, but I got one thing to say; Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson need to give up the stage. It was sad and funny. Thank goodness Merle and Blake came out and saved them. LOL.

I was surprised by the James Bond Skyfall theater win too... I liked their musical scores but man a grammy... I feel like that movie is soooooo old.

Kris seemed to get a little better the more they played but still. UGH Reminded me of the last time Glenn Campbel was on a TV stage. Man it was hard to watch. I never really though Wille was all that great a singer anyways. But if they would have performed with some of that rap syntho goober music nobody would have been the wiser.

I was/am a Leon Russell fan. I did not know that's the origin of Delta Lady.

 

I think the best performance of the Grammy's was Pink, again.

Was enjoying the the show till suddenly found myself in the middle of a few weddings going on...i think...

Not having received an invitation to the weddings, i thought it only fair to leave, and i went to bed.

Pink's performance was great, she sounds as good in a live performance as on the polished up studio recordings. I think that Lorde has a great voice that is as good live as the recordings. So many of the live performances, Willie and Kris' performance being one of them, did not sound anything like what comes out of the studio.

Pink scared the crap outta me. I was worried the whole time that she was gonna fall, LOL. She obviously has some gymnastics in her background.

I wish Robin Thicke didn't get in the way of Chicago. He was so full of himself, out of place, and outclassed in that performance.

Have to say Pink is probably one of my "new" favorite singers. She kind of reminds me of Janis Joplin. Hearty and soulful. You can understand what she is singing to boot.

When I think it can't get any worse it does. The grammys were pure trash. I saw different segments of the the grammys on the news the next day. Was madonna dressed like colonel Sanders or Boss Hog. Pure Trash.
