The Tooch Posted March 9, 2014 #501 Posted March 9, 2014 Just to stay with this for a min. If you have ever watched the North American Police motorcycle completions on u-tube......they are nothing compared to the Japanese Police.....those guys can toss a Gold Wing around and they do a lot more full stop & go full throttle take off's. If you haven't seen it...worth google'n and watching the u-tube video's.......amazing.
Prairiehammer Posted March 9, 2014 #502 Posted March 9, 2014 No, not bad at all. Just to improve the gaming experience for all, include the original pic in your answer. When you find the OP, copy the image and paste to your answering post. That original pic when copied and pasted is usually of a larger size, making for a richer and higher resolution photo for all to see. The VRO forum limits our "attached images" to a measly 640 pixel width. Perhaps, I should clarify (Canuckitize) about posting the original pic in your answer post. Find the picture on the web that the original poster used when he posted. Finding the original web picture adds significantly to the time consumed while searching for the correct answer. For instance, I knew within a couple seconds what a certain bike was, but it took me many minutes, sometimes hours, to find the exact same pic posted by the OP. But, as I said, that original pic can be copied and pasted directly on to your answering post in a much larger format, as opposed to the little attached thumbnail.
stickhandle2 Posted March 9, 2014 #503 Posted March 9, 2014 ok Gotcha. Kevin how did you take the badges of the picture of the CB1300P, just curious. Thanks,

Prairiehammer Posted March 9, 2014 #505 Posted March 9, 2014 ok Gotcha. Kevin how did you take the badges of the picture of the CB1300P, just curious. Thanks, Yeah, removing the identifying badges is key, of course, to stymieing the prospective guessers. To do it: Download the desired photo to your computer ( I use the desktop; it makes it easier to find the pic.) After downloading the pic, copy the pic into MS Paint (or another photo editor of your choice). Use the editing tools to obscure the identifying markings on the bike. Save the edited picture as a JPG to your computer desktop. Attach the edited picture to your VRO post (click the paperclip icon) and when the attachment window opens, click Browse and find your edited picture. Upload that pic.
The Tooch Posted March 9, 2014 #507 Posted March 9, 2014 Yes what Kevin says. If you have photo shop program it's easy. If you have Windows download the photo into the paint program and use a shape or just paint over it to block it out save it back to the photo file.....and there you go. Like I said yesterday I'm working off an iPad right now so really I should download a photo shop type app. Guess I should get on that! Been just looking for photos right now that don't have the logos...makes it a little harder but adds to the fun of searching.
Prairiehammer Posted March 9, 2014 #508 Posted March 9, 2014 Been just looking for photos right now that don't have the logos...makes it a little harder but adds to the fun of searching. Tooch, find a photo of a bike that you want us to guess and PM me the URL where the photo can be found. I'll download and edit your selected pic and post it on here for you. 'Course, I'll have all the answers to your test, but shoot!, what are friends for?
stickhandle2 Posted March 9, 2014 #509 Posted March 9, 2014 I will let you guys do the picking, I will have to try doing what you said Kevin to remove the badges. I need my back up here in case I mess up on the computer. I am basically a cut n paste email guy.
Prairiehammer Posted March 9, 2014 #510 Posted March 9, 2014 I will let you guys do the picking,... So, you are saying that despite winning the last round, you are relinquishing the "new bike guess offering"? In that case, Prairiehammer has picked up the dropped baton and is racing to post a new bike, before that crazy Hell Yea finds something made in Outer Mongolia.

The Tooch Posted March 10, 2014 #520 Posted March 10, 2014 Check out the awesome motorcycle created by 54-year-old Roongrojna Sangwongprisarn from Bangkok. The monster bike was inspired by the the Alien films. It was made using recycled materials from old cars and bicycles, and he sure did a hell of a job sculpting this junk into a mad sci-fi beast. Check out the photos and tell us what you think!
The Tooch Posted March 10, 2014 #521 Posted March 10, 2014 The Uno....looks like one wheel from the side........ but it is two!
Prairiehammer Posted March 10, 2014 #523 Posted March 10, 2014 I'm sooo confused, what bike am I supposed to be identifying? Huh! Go out for dinner and come back to the Aussie and Canuck playing Wack-A-Mole. Can't keep up!
The Tooch Posted March 10, 2014 #524 Posted March 10, 2014 We're on 3 wheels.....Old Man.....catch-up!

Still confused...what am I supposed to be guessing....
