cowpuc Posted January 15, 2014 #1 Posted January 15, 2014 A biker sitting here in cold western Mi discovers that neither of the great movies mentioned in other threads are available here yet. Needing a little brain reprieve from thinking politics, looking at snow and wondering why tax time has to be right after Christmas, his memories head south (pun 4 Randy?) where its warm and peaceful to a ride not long ago........
DragonRider Posted January 16, 2014 #2 Posted January 16, 2014 Bored, and tired of the white stuff, so break out the summer vids and try to shake the doldrums...........................:bang head: Did it work? cowpuc Posted January 16, 2014 Author #3 Posted January 16, 2014 Bored, and tired of the white stuff, so break out the summer vids and try to shake the doldrums...........................:bang head: Did it work? I NEED AND EVEN MY PEA BRAIN CAN ONLY BE TRICKED BY PICTURES FOR SO LONG!!!!! How goes the healing buddy?? Hope all is well!!!!!!
DragonRider Posted January 16, 2014 #4 Posted January 16, 2014 I know exactly what you mean Puc, I haven't been on my trike since before Thanksgiving, and we have had some nice weather here in the Atlanta area. And then the little bit of riding I did get in didnt amount to much because of the knee surgery I had earlier in the year, so my mileage this year is really gonna be down. I don't expect to be allowed back on it till sometime after March, that's almost 6 months of walking by it and not even being able to climb aboard. I cant ever work on it, because I am not supposed to be lifting anything what so ever, no straining, no nothing..........and watching vids like yours and others doesn't help one bit, it just makes it worse...:bang head: I NEED AND EVEN MY PEA BRAIN CAN ONLY BE TRICKED BY PICTURES FOR SO LONG!!!!! How goes the healing buddy?? Hope all is well!!!!!!
djh3 Posted January 16, 2014 #5 Posted January 16, 2014 My luck would be that road is either a route to the local "unauthorized" toxic waste dump, or about midnight a fire ranger or some clown in a 4x4 would be barreling donw there.
Gary N. Posted January 16, 2014 #6 Posted January 16, 2014 Well, if I can help you out a bit. It's beautiful bright and sunny here in Texas Hill Country this morning and I'm heading out for cycle therapy right now.

cowpuc Posted January 17, 2014 Author #9 Posted January 17, 2014 Wayyy cool vids TX!! Did a lot of that winter camping (deer hunting stuff) years ago but never from the seat of a bike!! Gotta tell ya, THAT DOES LOOK LIKE FUN, and a great way to take the edge off winter.. I used to LOVE Michigan winters and lived in it, biking (screws in tires) - snowmobiling (when the kids were little I would wrap an old mattress in plastic, big rope to hang onto and play for hours) - spearing fish - hunting - 3 and 4 wheelers.. And than my body got old (5 back surgeries from mxing, arthritus) - now the cold locks me right up... I used to shake my head at all the old people heading south for the winter,,,, NOW I GET IT!! Anyway,, THANKS FOR THE VIDS!!! LOVED THE SKIING ONE TOO, THAT IS MY KIND OF MAKING DO!!!!!
