Camper is 290 and that is heavier than the Leesur-Lite which has a base axle weight of 255 lbs.

With that being said, many people do pull them with bikes all the time and seem to do just fine. I believe ours comes in around 400lbs fully loaded. Maybe a little more.

We've pulled the Leesur-lite fully loaded (appx 400 lbs), 2-up with the RSV, the Wing, and the Vic. Handling wise RSV --- not good at lower speeds Wing --- a breeze Vic --- not as good as the Wing but much better than the RSV Power RSV --- fair Wing --- awesome Vic --- about the same the RSV We sold the Leesur-lite .... giving up tenting altogether. Small cargo trailer is all we'll need.
mini-muffin Posted January 14, 2014 #6 Posted January 14, 2014 Guess I can't say either since we have the bunkhouse. We pull it with our Wing and no problems and Muffin can really pack. You need to look at the options you want as well as which one you want. You don't want to buy one and realize you needed the other instead. Margaret
dogman Posted January 15, 2014 #7 Posted January 15, 2014 I have the leisure-lite. We love it. Believe me when I say, we don't know we are towing it. With saying that you must remember as it is wider then your bike and you can hit things with it. Some other things for you to consider other then weight. What size of bed do you sleep in at home? The leisure-lite is only a double. We sleep in a double at home so we love it. Is speed of set up important to you? If you can get to a RV show, they should have them there and you can compare in person. That is what I did. I asked them to take them down and put them back up to see what I would have to do. We laid on the beds also and stood up inside to see what the space was like to change and put things. Ultimately, no matter what you buy, if you use it, you will love it. Happy searching.

With respect to the Leesur-Lite Excel trailer, I agree ... wife and I loved it. It sets up in a minute unless you have the add-a-room and awning ... those will take appx 1/2 hr. As for towing it, I disagree somewhat with the above ... if you're on flats or slight hills, you hardly know it's behind you. Steeper hills or stop-and-go traffic, parking lots, slow speed, uneven pavement turns, etc .... not so great behind an RSV but a person can get used to that. I sold my RSV and bought a Wing for 2 reason's ... one was ease of towing that trailer with a Wing. It did not matter how steep the hills were or how slow I was going, it pulled that trailer with exceptional ease. FWIW, I'm not a big, burly strong man so even riding the RSV at slow speeds, stop-and-go, uneven roads at slow speed was a challenge for me without the trailer. The Wing was effortless to drive, so is the Vic. To graphically demonstrate the hill climbing ability, towing the leesur-lite with the RSV versus the Wing .... here's a grade chart of one of the highways we often ride on ... [ATTACH]81640[/ATTACH] Going over that with the RSV, I was down to 3rd gear and full throttle at times, maybe running 80-90 km/h. With the Wing, never left 5th gear and full throttle I could pull the steepest grade at least 140 km/h. (just tryin to tell it like it is)
