uncledj Posted January 10, 2014 #1 Posted January 10, 2014 How many people actually respond to e-mails like this. Mrs Williams To Today at 7:57 AM CHARITY FOUNDATION Dear Beloved, Let me first of all inform you that I got your email from an email Directory and decided to email you. May i have your permission to go ahead? I am Mrs. Jeanne D. Williams from Fredonia, New York United State of America but presently in London, United Kingdom, I am 69 years old, I am deaf and suffering from a long time cancer of the breast, From all indication my condition is really deteriorating, and My doctor have courageously advised me that I may not live long, this is because the cancer stage has reached a critical stage. I was brought up in a motherless baby’s home and was married to my late husband Dr. Johnson Edwards Williams for twenty years without a child. My husband and I are true Christian's, we lived all day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since he was working here as a contractor, but quite unfortunately he died in a fire outbrake which burnt him into ashes none of his body was found, After his death I decided not to re-marry and because of my bad stage of health, I deposited 150 KG of Gold with a private security firm in United Kingdom including all our jewelries but I am still have my wedding rings with me here. Presently this Gold is still with the company and the management just wrote me as the beneficiary to come forward to receive the Gold or rather Issue a letter of authorization to somebody whom i trust to act as my representative to receive it on my behalf if I cannot come over. I am presently undergoing treatment for Cancer of the lungs at the hospital here in aberden, I have lost my ability to talk and my doctors have told me that I have only a few weeks to live. I want a person that is trustworthy that will utilize 70% of this gold after sales to fund orphanages, disaster victims and widows around the world but in our name Dr. and Mrs. Williams Foundation. Because my time is short I have decided to give most of this gold to Charity organizations as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth for my final departure. For all your good efforts you will receive 20% of the sales made from the gold and disburse the rest. I hereby direct you to contact the attorney who has the responsibility of handling the gold transaction with you. Below are the contact details; Name: Barr. Michele De Gregorio Email: michele.gregorio55@aol.com I will mandate him to issue you with the authorization letter that will prove you as the new beneficiary of my Gold. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated here in this letter and Keep this contact confidential till such a time this gold get to your Custody. This is to ensure that nothing jeopardizes my last wish on Earth. I await your urgent reply. You are blessed. Mrs. Jeanne D. Williams Email: geosus5@aol.com Reply, Reply All or Forward | More
SilvrT Posted January 10, 2014 #2 Posted January 10, 2014 Heck ... I'm jumping on that! Here's my email to them ... Barr. Michele De Gregorio I am willing to disburse your gold for you. Instead of a 20% of sales, I will do this for a flat fee of 10,000 US dollars. You can pay me 1/2 to commence and when all the gold is sold and the funds disbursed to the various charities, you can then pay the other 1/2. If this interests you, pls respond and I will provide you with banking information to deposit the funds. Sincerely.
stickhandle2 Posted January 10, 2014 #4 Posted January 10, 2014 Sadly there are those that do fall prey to the scum suckers that send these type of emails out.
cowpuc Posted January 11, 2014 #5 Posted January 11, 2014 Sadly there are those that do fall prey to the scum suckers that send these type of emails out. My favorite Prof in college had a simple little saying that has stuck with me for many years, it goes like this: Dont be dumb:backinmyday: (that little icon even looks like him) Of course, on the other side of that coin is one of the most archaic sayings of all time in the world of gear headedness: you cant fix stupid To which I add,, maybe so,, but we should never stop trying..
Flyinfool Posted January 11, 2014 #6 Posted January 11, 2014 I read some where that it only takes 2 out of every 1,000,000 (One Million) emails sent out for a scam to be profitable. It is not hard to 2 people that are not to bright out of a million tries.
