Eddie Posted January 8, 2014 #3 Posted January 8, 2014 Get your riding in now because in July it will be 150 degrees and to hot to ride all Summer
cowpuc Posted January 8, 2014 #4 Posted January 8, 2014 Get your riding in now because in July it will be 150 degrees and to hot to ride all Summer So last summer I got my bike lift out on the slab with bike on it, tools skattered all over, pieces and parts piled up, sweat drippin off my forehead while standing in the sun in my shorts/barefoot/no shirt.. Buddy pulls in on his Ultra, points out that 30 feet from me is shade and 200 feet from me is the entrance into my basement where its stays cool - shakes his head and says "you are crazy standing in the sun like that".. I says to him "oh you of short memory - you have completely forgotten about last winter - its coming back ya know - I am gettin my fair share of sunshine and heat NOW".. Only time I have found it to hot to ride was out at Death Valley, but than again,, there is NOTHING like riding Death Valley all night on a moonlit night at a 105 degrees!!! Reverse pyschology dont work on Puc Eddie:mustache:
star4772 Posted January 8, 2014 Author #5 Posted January 8, 2014 Get your riding in now because in July it will be 150 degrees and to hot to ride all Summer Yeah up in Phoenix, Yuma but where I am at maybe 100 give or take. I'm in a valley at about 3600 feet. Stays cooler here and not as bad.
