utadventure Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Posted January 7, 2014 I watched the weather report last night about how cold parts of the US is. Salt Lake is no where near as cold as other areas, but this morning I woke up thinking (dangerous, I know)... After enjoying the riding season last fall, the time came to put the bike away until spring. Last fall I had gotten hot and added some WATER to the overflow while out. I awoke last night wondering if the coolant in the bike was enough to prevent freezing? I came home from work today, checked the reservoir, mostly empty, I checked the radiator and it was liquid (good). I added Prestone to the reservoir and topped off the radiator, then brought the bike up to operating temp.....no leaks.....now I know and a little more anti-freeze is in the system. I still look forward to spring getting here soon. I hate it sometimes when I think..... Dave
