Rick Butler Posted January 10, 2014 #14 Posted January 10, 2014 Yeah FYI, The sizes of any Yamaha bolt is always the middle set of numbers in the part number: 06016 = 6mm in diameter and 16mm long.....and I'm not sure about the pitch. Rick Its a 6mm x 1mm pitch x 16mm Lg. flat head machine screw.
billmac Posted January 10, 2014 #15 Posted January 10, 2014 better off trying an ACE or ACO hardware store. or a local one. HD or lowes don't cater to us that only need 1 or 2 nuts or bolts.
Flyinfool Posted January 11, 2014 #16 Posted January 11, 2014 would using a 20mm bolt - Lowes had them- have any adverse effect?? If it bottoms out in the hole just cut the end off. Ummmmm, cut of the threaded end.......
yuckly Posted January 14, 2014 Author #17 Posted January 14, 2014 If it bottoms out in the hole just cut the end off. Ummmmm, cut of the threaded end....... THAT is important! It didn't bottom out. I was just wondering if it went through and would contact a moving part? Obviously, i don;t know what is behind there... un gonna find that out...
