Bones158 Posted January 7, 2014 #31 Posted January 7, 2014 OK, don't laugh. My 05 Venture with 60,000 miles on her that 50,000, was mine from 07 had her triked last year and only put 2,000 on it due to back and wrist problems. But 14 hear I come.
JohnT Posted January 7, 2014 #32 Posted January 7, 2014 However many miles I rode it wasn't enough. Did not add a single state this year. But I did ride the heck out of the Adirondacks.
stanG Posted January 8, 2014 #33 Posted January 8, 2014 About 7,500 in 2013. Up from 5,000 in 2012. 6-7 month riding season for me here in MI
cheny Posted January 9, 2014 #35 Posted January 9, 2014 I have ridden through every state but Alaska. Will be doing that in June.
uncledj Posted January 10, 2014 #37 Posted January 10, 2014 Usually abour 2500 miles a year. I used to do about that much a month when I lived in Florida, when I had more time and fewer responsibilities. Now I work so much in the "nice" months that I have little time to ride. I keep thinkin' I gotta do something about that, but I can't seem to say "NO" when I'm asked to work. LOL.......Maybe I'll have more time when I get a bit older.
cheny Posted January 10, 2014 #38 Posted January 10, 2014 I have ridden in all states but Alaska. Will do that in June
cowpuc Posted January 10, 2014 #39 Posted January 10, 2014 I have ridden in all states but Alaska. Will do that in June You and I are in exactly the same boat Cheny and AK has been on my bucket list for a while now.. Have you done any research on when is the best time of year for touring AK? You planning on riding up from PA? Wonder if June is to early to be crossing mountain ranges up there.....
