sanderjack Posted January 5, 2014 #1 Posted January 5, 2014 I am starting 2014 with 40,975 on my 2009 RSV. I rode 13,872 miles in 9 months. Broken arm kept me off the bike for the first three months.

Flyinfool Posted January 5, 2014 #4 Posted January 5, 2014 Not nearly enough. Only around 6-7K per year. I am hoping to do better this year.
Venturous Posted January 5, 2014 #5 Posted January 5, 2014 102,000 on my 2002, so looks like I average around 8500 miles a year.
slowrollwv Posted January 5, 2014 #6 Posted January 5, 2014 Only 12,000, missed four months due to shoulder injury. Hope to do more this year.
CaptainJoe Posted January 5, 2014 #7 Posted January 5, 2014 Very good question! We ride Touring Bikes... Being retired, I ride anywhere from 3k to 9k a year. I know... That's pathetic!.. I'll try to do better ... promise...
cheny Posted January 5, 2014 #8 Posted January 5, 2014 My 07 t.d. turned 110000 2 weeks before the warranty ran out. 2 mounths after I got back from A 10000 mile trip cross country some one ran a red light and totaled it out. Picked up a 08 venture with 2000 miles now have 20000miles after 1 year.
bongobobny Posted January 5, 2014 #9 Posted January 5, 2014 Less than 10,000 this year. A lot less than I want to ride...
etcswjoe Posted January 5, 2014 #10 Posted January 5, 2014 Between the the 2 Ventures about 18k was down with health issues for a couple months but hope to do better this year
XV1100SE Posted January 5, 2014 #11 Posted January 5, 2014 LOL - okay, lets add another wrinkle to this... During the year, including my home Province, I rode in a total of 16 Provinces/States.
SummerBreeze Posted January 5, 2014 #12 Posted January 5, 2014 I bought my 96 RSTC close to the end of July 2013. Took me about a month to get it road ready. Due to sickness in the family, the ER removal of my gall blader and other junk I only got to ride about 2000 miles. Can't wait to get back at it.
EXECTIVE Posted January 5, 2014 #13 Posted January 5, 2014 average 2,231 miles per month in 2013 on 2000 rsv looking to do more in 2014
Ion Posted January 5, 2014 #15 Posted January 5, 2014 A little over 23k on 2013 (14 on the c50 and 9 on the venture) About 15k commuting to work. The wife just started riding with me and she loves it so I expect to be closer to 30k this year.
Mike G in SC Posted January 5, 2014 #16 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) 11,924 miles on my 2009 RSV in 2013. (now at 59,597 miles) 3,944 miles on my 2006 RSTD in 2013. (now at 95,849 miles) --------- 15,868 both bikes Down from 22,240 in 2012, and closer to 25k previous years. Slowing down I guess. Oh, three solid months of rain in SC last summer. shuttlebug Posted January 5, 2014 #17 Posted January 5, 2014 We rode a little over 15,000 miles on the 2001 RSV in 2013, that includes a 3700 mile trip touring around Colorado. Maybe this year I'll do better
gez Posted January 5, 2014 #18 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) In round numbers, I've put 5,000 on the Road Star and 8,000 on the Venture in 2013. Today is a Road Star day. Edited January 5, 2014 by gez

bmiller Posted January 5, 2014 #20 Posted January 5, 2014 I picked up my bike at the end of March 2013 and was able to put over 19,000 km (just shy 12,000 miles) before I had to park it for the winter, last ride was early October and it was chilly. Made it through 3 provinces and 7 states last year. I am planning on showing up at the 2014 International Rally in Guntersville, Al this year, can't wait for the snow to go and get back on the road!!

Barrycuda Posted January 5, 2014 #23 Posted January 5, 2014 Last year was the most I rode ever!!! Before 2013, my max mileage was 4,300 on my Vulcan. Between my work, raising a family and misc hobbies, I am very happy and proud to announce my mileage... 2013 totals RSV: 9,102 riding through Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky Vulcan:1,350 miles 1982 cb900f supersport: 85 miles ( storing for a buddy) Grand total: 10,537 NON TRAILERED glorious miles. For many this is no big deal, but for me this is awesome....
rowdy7 Posted January 5, 2014 #24 Posted January 5, 2014 3k on FJR 3600 on RSV 6600 Total fun filled miles--not enough
friesman Posted January 5, 2014 #25 Posted January 5, 2014 I bought the RSV on may 1st in Calgary, made somewhere between 18-20k kms on it. I wandered through Manitoba, Saskatchewan Alberta, British Columbia, North Dakota, Minnesota and a quick beer trip into Idaho. I put the bike into storage in the 3rd week of October and it was my shortest ride season ever, but my highest mileage year ever as i could really put the miles on the more comfortable RSV. Brian
