Brake Pad Posted December 29, 2013 #3 Posted December 29, 2013 There is nothing that can top the love you get from a pet. Nothing.......
tufftom4 Posted December 29, 2013 #4 Posted December 29, 2013 There is nothing that can top the love you get from a pet. Nothing....... I agree and my old girl Missy is going on 18 and I see the end coming and I will cry when she goes.
Sylvester Posted December 29, 2013 #5 Posted December 29, 2013 Sorry for your loss. I lost my best buddy, Jake, last month. I rescued him seven years ago and nursed him to health. He wasn't very old but had bad health issues from abuse and abandonment. My vet said that with me he had the best seven years any animal could have. Miss him greatly.
cowpuc Posted December 29, 2013 #6 Posted December 29, 2013 Thats terrible news George, condolances to you and all who knew and loved Harley!! Puc
Guest Posted December 30, 2013 #7 Posted December 30, 2013 George, sorry for your loss. Ive been through this many times and it sure dont get any easier. Each one has a special place in my heart.
uncledj Posted December 30, 2013 #8 Posted December 30, 2013 You have my deepest sympathy. Beloved pets are much more than animals; they're family. The lil' guy that's pictured as my avatar is gettin' old, and I'm worried about how my better half will respond when he goes. We both love him very much. As I'm sure you know, after the grief passes, you'll remember the good times much better than the bad. Take care:8:
Frogger Posted December 30, 2013 #9 Posted December 30, 2013 Sorry to hear that. Our pets are so much a member of the family
Bubber Posted December 30, 2013 #10 Posted December 30, 2013 I can't add any more than what was already said, but our pets are like our extended family and children. Sorry to hear about Harley. I hope you remember the good times and enjoy the time you had with him. God's speed Harley, you will be missed by your family. Steve aka Bubber
