SapperMedic Posted December 25, 2013 #1 Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) OK the back story, My friend Jeff Blackwell has been deployed to Afghanistan, and his kids thought that he wouldn't be back until next month, but he redeployed to Ft Bliss on Sunday. His wife made up a story about having to travel for work and went up and picked him up. They asked if he could use my house to change into a Santa suit to surprise his kids. While they were still traveling, I texted them and asked if Jeff would like to ride in on the back of my bike, (it's red) and that way they wouldn't recognize our envoy when he arrived. Since I belong to the American Legion, and one of the Legion Riders club here in town lives a few doors down from them, we decided to do it right. BTW the Deer antlers and nose added a perfect touch. http://www.kens5.com/news/Santa-delivers-perfect-surprise-for-kids-of-San-Antonio-soldier-237199321.html Edited December 25, 2013 by SapperMedic picture
