Just won an auction for HD rear light bar for 2nd gen. :bowdown: Had been looking for this item for the past 8 months. It is in good shape and the price was reasonable. Yooo....hooo!

 

Planning to go LED with them.

Just received the light bar in the mail today and it is in perfect shape. :cool10:

Question though: The lenses are dark red, I remember reading somewhere that I need to use red leds in that case as white leds would wash out. Is that correct? :confused07:

Any time you put and LED behind a colored lens you want to color match the LEDs to the lens. The easiest way to explain it...the Lens filters out certain wavelenghts/colors of light and with LEDs you will loose intensity.
