ragtop69gs Posted December 22, 2013 #2 Posted December 22, 2013 I'd love to join you Joe, BUT, this freezing rain we're having right now makes it hard to even walk out to the garage Please carry me in your vest pocket, I could use a little wind in my face about now.

I hear ya. WV dodged that bullet... going to be bad for you and New England folks... Plan on riding from 10 am and getting back at 4:30 as that's when The Steelers play GB... Suppose to be near 70 deg! WooooooooooHoo!
leo3wheel Posted December 22, 2013 #4 Posted December 22, 2013 Made it to 72 this morning and then dropped to 71. Guess its on its way down. :-(
CaptainJoe Posted December 22, 2013 Author #6 Posted December 22, 2013 Just got back from my ride . Only got up to 69... Is it me or is this just not right? Blow up motorcycles with santa and blow up John deere tractor on the roof?
Venturous Randy Posted December 22, 2013 #7 Posted December 22, 2013 Rode about 40 miles yesterday and it was 71, At about 11pm last night, I went o Wally World in shorts and it was still 71. the only concern with the ride was it was a bit windy. Not a bad ride for the first day of winter. RandyA

spear Posted December 23, 2013 #9 Posted December 23, 2013 Half ya luck guys. I've had temperatures over 100degF for the past three days. Like living in a blast furnace, but hey! You learn to adapt, eh?
djh3 Posted December 23, 2013 #10 Posted December 23, 2013 Sounds like Soutwest Oklahoma or Arazona in our summer time. But they tell me "it aint to bad because its a dry heat" My response is "so is the oven to cook a turkey". I lived thru some of them years, you just adapt.
