1BigDog Posted December 19, 2013 #1 Posted December 19, 2013 I am offering a one time deal on my 99 which is currently listed in the classifieds for 6k. After doing the valves and color tune it was determined that one valve in the #3 cylinder is out of spec and I need to go back in to change the shim. I plan on doing this some time in late Jan. However, I will let the bike go for 5700 now as is to avoid having to do the correction. It will all be labor as it will need no new parts. I just dont have the time nor the inclination to work on the bike right now. Just thought id toss this out there.
djh3 Posted December 19, 2013 #4 Posted December 19, 2013 Jeff I know someone thats sort of in the market on the Delphi board. He had his "new to him" RSV about a couple weeks and a kid pulled out of a parking lot right infront of him and he hit him broad sided. Oh yea a Deputy Sherrff hit the kid too. Hes OK but minus a RSV. I think he is in Tx.

djh3 Posted December 23, 2013 #16 Posted December 23, 2013 Your welcome Jeff. I like finding homes for strays. Thats part of why the wife and I volunteer for the local humane society. Hope your holiday is happier now.
Guest Posted December 25, 2013 #17 Posted December 25, 2013 Spoke to the new future owner. A real nice guy from Texas. He wrecked his 99 and was looking for a replacement. I am real confident and relieved that the bike will be in good hands, exactly the kind of guy that I was looking for to buy the bike. I will be storing it here until he can come and get it in Feb. And it doesnt have Iridium plugs like Dans either........
bongobobny Posted December 25, 2013 #18 Posted December 25, 2013 Did you tell him about the family here??
