Venturous Randy Posted December 18, 2013 #1 Posted December 18, 2013 According to the weekend weather forecast, we should be near 70 degrees for Sunday. Only problem with that is we are also supposed to have a 70% chance of rain. I could use a little seat time, but riding in the rain is not my idea of having a good time. RandyA
wrenchrob Posted December 18, 2013 #2 Posted December 18, 2013 At least itsnot snowing there. My bike is parked till spring
cowpuc Posted December 18, 2013 #3 Posted December 18, 2013 It has been cold enough here that our digital signal is freezing in the air and falling to the ground - I just went out and shoveled up a whole bunch of 1's and 0's.. I came in and started piecing those 1's and 0's together and, unless I didnt add correctly, the first message I got here says something about 70 degrees in Johnson City TN this weekend... I must have really screwed up somewhere...... :rotf:

Eck Posted December 19, 2013 #5 Posted December 19, 2013 I could use a little seat time, ... You must be getting back to normal again... I mean, whatever the definition of normal is for you anyway.. I'm ready for a ride too. I just put the left front tube back in after rebuilding it again,,(darn new seal leaked) and then I installed new front brake pads.. Tomorrow I will be installing new rear brake pads and bleeding the entire brake system.

RandyA Guess what Randy, we had a heat wave today too!!! Now its raining and theres a solid 1/2 inch of ice on the road Gonna have to dig out the ice skates to go pick the kids up at the airport for Christmas I guess,,, where there's a will there's a way buddy!!!
Venturous Posted December 20, 2013 #8 Posted December 20, 2013 I got out and burned a tank of gas yesterday. It felt good. Even got in a DQ stop for a pumpkin pie blizzard. Yum! Saturday is only calling for 30% rain. I might get a few more miles on then after hunting.
RandyR Posted December 20, 2013 #9 Posted December 20, 2013 If the sun peeks out, I may get in some saddle time too. the forecast here is also for warmer over the weekend but increasing chance of rain. Then dipping back down below freezing at night for Christmas. A low chance of precip Christmas so I'm not expecting any of the white stuff.
Nemo Posted December 20, 2013 #10 Posted December 20, 2013 Gary, nice looking Bike and I like your flags. I had a pair mounted like yours, but they kept blowing downward, so I re-installed them on the outer bars of the rack, which run in the opposite direction and solved that problem.
Evan Posted December 20, 2013 #11 Posted December 20, 2013 Sure envy you guys with good riding weather in your areas. We have snow on the ground here and the forecast calls for freezing rain for the next few days. Not good for riding!
