DragonRider Posted December 18, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 18, 2013 Received a copy of paperwork for my short-term disability that was sent to my work and the Dr. has me out for 12 weeks ending March 7. I knew I would be out for a while, but didnt expect to be out for 12 weeks. I just hope I can get over the discomfort and soreness, that I don't remember experiencing last time I had this surgery, but I didn't get any plates or screws then, so I assume that is whats causing the soreness. Nights have been tough, and the days tougher, I cant seem to get into a comfortable position no matter what I do. Part of the aging process I guess. Looks like riding is out of the questions also. Sure am glad it is winter, don't know if I could survive 12 weeks of no riding.:crying:
Wrench Posted December 18, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 18, 2013 Anytime they add metal to you it takes a while for the soreness/tenderness to settle down. Kick back and enjoy it as best you can, it'll be over soon enough. Good luck!
