86 Royale Carb Rebuild Kit Question

Hey guys, I'm in the process of rebuilding the carbs on a 86 XVZ13 I just bought. I would like to know if any of you have used the 18-2879 K&L carb repair kit on an 86. This K&L kit is for a 85 Vmax and it was a perfect fit when I did the carbs on my 83. I've researched other posts on this subject but I want to make sure before I spend the money!! THANKS

the most important thing I did on my rebuild was replacing the FLOATS and needles. And setting them correctly. You can possibly get some part from SIRIUS in Canada. There are important gaskets and o-rings required for a complete rebuild
