That's great news, home is always better even though it's a little rough at first. I had a fusion with 2 rods/6 screws of L-4-L5-S1 in Feb '11. Definitely takes the flex out of the low back, but hopefully it'll also take away the pain. I still have a tiny bit of tingling/numbness in my feet but it's a small trade for being able to function again. I had a similar issue with my heart, doc said it was because they had me out for nearly 6 hours. Give him our best for a full & speedy recovery.

How is Tom doing? Have they discharged him yet. Its going to be tough, but if my wife could handle it I am sure Tom can. They sent me home on Sat after my surgery, mine wasnt as complicated as Tom's, so wish him well for me and we will be praying for him.:thumbsup2:

Thanks all for the well wishes. We are up for a long day ahead of us at least we did not get the 10+ inches of snow they were calling for in our area. I will let you know how Tom makes out

I'm thinking he's home, both cars are in the carport and I saw Frogger around 6 when we got home from shopping. There has only been one car in the carport (Tom's) since Friday...
