Skid Posted December 10, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) Looks like I'm going to be in Norfolk next Monday evening for dinner. Any good suggestions? Black Owl Posted December 10, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 10, 2013 I pulled a tour at Ft Story back in the before days. Been almost 48 years but I can recommend some of the places the wife and I used to go to if that would help.

mini-muffin Posted December 11, 2013 Share #12 Posted December 11, 2013 Are you coming solo or bringing Lesley? If you're dining alone and want company I'm sure some of us could show up. Margaret
Skid Posted December 11, 2013 Author Share #13 Posted December 11, 2013 The more the merrier. I'm traveling alone bringing a cargo truck to pick up some military surplus. Plan now is coming down on Monday and getting loaded Tuesday morning and drive back on Tuesday. I was thinking a good steak and some seafood would make a good dinner Monday night. cowpuc Posted December 11, 2013 Share #19 Posted December 11, 2013 61 bucks a day Skid,, definitely sounds like a King Crab lunch and T-Bone for dinner routine to me... After you eat your fill, pull those stick on hair attachments out of your pocket and stick em on, dance around the parking lot all the while proclaiming you got a belly ache and bingo,, voucher for a nice motel so you can sleep off all that food... :rotf: Better hope some of your buddys aint already ate there though,,,,, the motel you end up in may be the type with bars on the windows Have fun!! mini-muffin Posted December 12, 2013 Share #23 Posted December 12, 2013 Jeff was a bit worried about you traveling with the weather system coming through this weekend. Let us know when you do get to come down and where you're gonna eat. Just remember to drive safe there's some crazy folks in VA, especially them Chesapeake cops. I think they have the record on flipping cruisers. Margaret
