Guest Donna Shields Posted December 7, 2013 #1 Posted December 7, 2013 I am working on a possible design for the 2014 Venture Rally T-Shirt and need some help from fellow members. Please email me a photo of your Venture with trailer attached. It might just end up on our t-shirt this year. Please send photos to dcshields@charter.net. In the interest of fairness I will also accept photos of Hondas, Harleys and other bikes with trailers
Black Owl Posted December 7, 2013 #2 Posted December 7, 2013 How about a picture of a trailer with a bike on it?:-) :-) :-) :-)
cowpuc Posted December 7, 2013 #3 Posted December 7, 2013 Donna, does the trailer have to be on wheels (see pic)? THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!!
Brake Pad Posted December 7, 2013 #4 Posted December 7, 2013 Donna, does the trailer have to be on wheels (see pic)? THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!! Your scaring the childen:no-no-no:
Guest Donna Shields Posted December 7, 2013 #6 Posted December 7, 2013 Apparently, a trailer isn't always a necessity, lol. Mind if I submit your photo to Playgirl Magazine? Is that even still in existence?? Nice body just the same and I am not referring to the bike............ As for the hard work, well......I haven't managed to break a sweat yet. Happy to help out a great bunch of guys and gals. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone next summer. Donna, does the trailer have to be on wheels (see pic)? THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!!
Freebird Posted December 7, 2013 #7 Posted December 7, 2013 I'll send you a picture. Uh...it may not be a Venture though.
Guest Donna Shields Posted December 7, 2013 #8 Posted December 7, 2013 There are some (me) that can't tell the difference, lol. I was the bookkeeper at the bike shop so didn't get too involved in the actual inventory. If it's got two wheels, it's good.

Well if you put a picture of a Harley on a t-shirt........apparently you'll sell millions!!!! Cause it appears that is what Harley riders do best.....buy t-shirts..... Don't know how well you'll do selling to Venture riders with a H.D. on there...they're a particular lot......1st gen. 2nd gen. stuff always seem to creep in there somehow as well.... But we are kind of simple, just use lots of purdy colors it will distract us and we'll buy anything!

Or visa versa...this way both are represented, and we don't have to coax yammer Dan, out of the trees.

Perhaps a picture with both the 1st and 2nd gen bikes on the back, along with a small logo...http://WWW.VENTURERIDER.ORG on the front left. I hate tee shirts with pics on the front... IMHO...

Venturous Posted December 8, 2013 #15 Posted December 8, 2013 What if people hate pics on the back?? Wear it backwards???
Barrycuda Posted December 8, 2013 #16 Posted December 8, 2013 Wear it backwards??? Nice comeback. That was a good one Venturous

CaptainJoe Posted December 8, 2013 #19 Posted December 8, 2013 What if people hate pics on the back?? I guess you got a point there...LOL:duck:

Guest Donna Shields Posted December 9, 2013 #21 Posted December 9, 2013 Thanks to everyone who emailed and posted pics of their motorcycles! I think I may have decided on one. I won't say whose it is just yet till we see if my design is one that is chosen.
TDunc Posted December 9, 2013 #22 Posted December 9, 2013 Suggestion, come up with a logo that does not change. Change the colors from year to year. We do that with a summer camp we have been involved with. Colors and styles can change but we have kept the logo the same except for like the 25th anniversary. Even then the main logo was incorporated. JUST AND IDEA!
Guest Donna Shields Posted December 9, 2013 #23 Posted December 9, 2013 I agree! Venture Rider needs a logo! I think the bike and trailer on the 2010 5th Anniversary design would be perfect. Brake Pad, could you post a pic as a reminder to everyone?
Yammer Dan Posted December 9, 2013 #25 Posted December 9, 2013 A possible idea, is to perhaps have the 1st gen on the front, and the 2nd gen on the back. Or visa versa...this way both are represented, and we don't have to coax yammer Dan, out of the trees. The 1st Gen would have to be in the Front!!! I'm just gonna ignore that other remark!!
