I have a well worn Corbin seat. It is free to anyone that is willing to pay shipping. Shipping will be roughly $55. Another member, Bluestreak and I swapped seats. He was looking for a stock seat because he didn't like the Corbin at all. I offered up a trade for my barely used stock pillow top plus my old worn Corbin for his excellent Corbin. We made the swap except I waited to send my Corbin until I got his so we could both continue to ride during swapping. We are both happy. He said he wouldn't use the old Corbin and I don't need anything else taking up space at my place. So Bluestreak suggested we put it up for the cost of shipping. A pay it forward type of thing. So here it is.

The seat is no gem, but for $55 in shipping, someone might be able to make some use of it. I will add pics in a while or you can email me in the meantime and I will send some.

Backrest included, but the beads stay with me!!

Just shoot me a pm or an email. I am also going to go to the meet and eat in NC next weekend so if you want to come or are near there, maybe we can save the shipping costs.

I go a Corbin on the 99. Trade for a pillow Top might be the way to go but I haven't tried it yet. Those beads look interesting. The backrest seems to come up a little short.

The beads are a beadrider set of seat beads. Didn't need them on this bike for my big butt, but my back was sweating against the backrest. SO in came the beads. No more sweaty back.

The backrest is the same height as the newer Corbin I got from Bluestreak.

I checked with Corbin a while back when looking at one that had seen better days, and they charge $300 to completely rebuild one of their seats. The cost of shipping leaves a lot of room to end up with a like new one.....

I am shipping Corbin the same kind of a seat for complete reupholster with studs and conchos. Two color with stiching. Sent them a photoshopped picture of what I exactly wanted and got a price quote back stating:

Hi Jonas,

That picture you sent ,along with different stitches and materials will not be a problem. Shipping items to PA is about $45

Cost on getting seat recovered is $ 225

Price on the trunkrest pad is $ 199

Backrest with chrome plate is $329

Have to say that I do not find this all that expensive compared to motorcycle dressup things in general. Apart from the drivers Back Rest - it is a little pricy. Here below are some pictured of what I want done for this price:

Thanks Jack.

The seat is practically unused so there is no foamwork needed to be done. That might explain the low cost. I hope Corbin will come through on this one and stick to my design. Heard some bad stories from their customers but also a lot of good ones. Never seen a badly produced Corbin seat myself though. I pretty much trust them. We´ll see what they deliver when the time comes.

Wow Jonas..... That is going to look amazing :thumbsup2:

Thanks Annie.

We will see how it turns out when Corbin has delivered.

The "Red Baron" is undergoing a complete overhaul even though it only has 30.000 miles on the speedo. Want to make sure everything is perfect. Bought a full suitcase og "Safety Chrome when I was in Boston, MA last month (picture below) so I pretty much have everything ready for installation except the following that are in progress:

Having a company in Texas Chroming the ABS plastic neck covers.

Nanci at Ace High Leather is gonna make me a custom fuel tank bib as well as custom saddlebag lid covers.

Making myself braided handlegrips and levers with fringes.

And when that is in house I have everything that I want for the bike :)

Will post pictures when I have finished the upgrades and overhaul :)

Dang, was stupid enough to use the colors that would match your bike as well. Question remains if you are flashy enough to try them on your bike when they arrive !
