Black Friday shopping.....

....was disappointing. Crossed the border to visit family in NY state and then went to do some Black Friday shopping in Erie, PA. Was looking for hunting clothing and accessories...very dissapointed.....was there by about 11:00am Friday.....the selection was already picked over...not much of anything that was actually on sale was left. What was left was not on sale. I had priced out some Under Armour baselayer clothing for our cold weather hunting here, and was amazed and very dissapointed to find that, not only was it not on sale, it was actually artificially priced higher then north of the border!

Next year, I'll let the women go to Kohl's again and I'll stay home and go hunting.

Hey, for base layer cold weather clothing (long Johns) have you tried the military surplus polyethelene long underwear. I've had good luck with them, comfortable and cheap.

Can't say I'm familiar with that product. Have to have a look for it. Anybody have any links to who sells them?

You can actually go to Walmart or Mark's WW and find some more affordable UA clothing. Not same quality, but 1\4 of the price.
