I know it is registered as an '83, but if I saw that bike on the street I would call it a 1984 model. It's got the 1984 Royale paint scheme and maybe the 1984 choke? Is the clock above the CMS or below?

I'll bet it is a 1983½; features of an '84 with the VIN of an '83. Correct?
