dacheedah Posted November 30, 2013 #1 Posted November 30, 2013 OK 40 degrees out, now my radio is dead, pulled the fuse and it's ok. Lights and everything works starts and runs fine. so any ideas?
etcswjoe Posted November 30, 2013 #2 Posted November 30, 2013 Check all the connections behind the fairing.
ragtop69gs Posted November 30, 2013 #3 Posted November 30, 2013 I have found that sometimes in the cold weather the LCD is either sluggish or doesn't work at all. Warm it up, I'll bet it works.
bongobobny Posted November 30, 2013 #4 Posted November 30, 2013 Yup! The dreaded cold weather poor connections on the audio system connectors inside the fairing...
Rick Haywood Posted December 2, 2013 #5 Posted December 2, 2013 Kevin,I hate to post the obvious but you did make sure it was turned on?
dacheedah Posted January 18, 2014 Author #6 Posted January 18, 2014 Oh workin in the garage and I checked the fuses today, it was the 10A Backup fuse. I know I had a trickle charger plugged in and started it. I wouldn't think that would do it but it was the only thing different. Came out from workin in the garage and found mother nature dumpin snow hard, about 2" and I didn't think I was in there that long.
dacheedah Posted January 19, 2014 Author #8 Posted January 19, 2014 Yeah Bobby, I'm takin a pass on riding in the 2" , butt I have self diagnosed as having a serious case of winter blahas. I spent most the day plowing for my father-in-law. I might go out and rub the bike a few more times just to say I loves you. . .
