Yammer Dan Posted November 17, 2013 #52 Posted November 17, 2013 Larry, if you want to be sneaky, don't tell folks how good your hearing improved, then you'll be one up on them as to what they're saying. Should have kept it a secret from Don. But I'm pretty sure Larry knows all about him!!

Bones158 Posted November 28, 2013 #57 Posted November 28, 2013 Larry, it's been a few since I've been on the web. Glad everything went well and the healing time has started. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Keysyrider Posted November 28, 2013 #58 Posted November 28, 2013 Tomorrow I'll be going in as an outpatient to have a Cochlear implant reinstalled. I had it for about a year but had gotten an infection that couldn't be treated so Doc took it out to get rid of the infection. Then had to wait a year to be sure the infection was gone before trying again. I was supposed to have it reinstalled last year but my bike /car accident postponed the operation. While not really looking to go under the knife again I do know that I'll have improved hearing again so it'll be worth the aggravation during the healing process. Hopefully this will be the last time I'll need to do this. Larry Best of luck and Godspeed with your recovery Larry. I'll see you on December 20 when I drop by to purchase every product you make for my new Venture. I have 40 to 45% hearing loss in both ears so I can relate. Mine can't be repaired. Guess I stood too close to too many racing bikes in my youth--but what a sweet sound they made. Standing behind a BMW Rensport and the noise waves pounding on my chest. Memories!!!
Evan Posted November 28, 2013 #59 Posted November 28, 2013 Good luck Larry. Hope the surgery is more than worth it for you.
