Tomorrow I'll be going in as an outpatient to have a Cochlear implant reinstalled. I had it for about a year but had gotten an infection that couldn't be treated so Doc took it out to get rid of the infection. Then had to wait a year to be sure the infection was gone before trying again. I was supposed to have it reinstalled last year but my bike /car accident postponed the operation.

While not really looking to go under the knife again I do know that I'll have improved hearing again so it'll be worth the aggravation during the healing process.

Hopefully this will be the last time I'll need to do this.

Wow that is great news that the implant works for you , Technology has come so far . I had a M R I yesterday and got to take home the pictures and scroll through them on my home computer a hour after. I have no idea what I'm looking at except it's my knee.

All the best tomorrow and I'll be thinking about you .Bill
