SummerBreeze Posted November 13, 2013 #1 Posted November 13, 2013 Just wanted to give a shout out/thumbs up to tazmocycle. I posted abbout needing some stuff and he came through on most of what I asked about and for that I would like to say "Thank You". Still working on a drivers backrest. As some of you know we tend to slow down as we get older, hahahahaha!
Venturous Randy Posted November 13, 2013 #3 Posted November 13, 2013 Don and Susan were the very first folks from Venturerider that I met, just before the first Vogal. It was in Birmingham, Al when I took a ride after working on my bike. When I went to the 1st Vogal, they were gracious enough to let me stay in a spare bedroom in their cabin. Great folks for sure. EasyRider Posted November 13, 2013 #4 Posted November 13, 2013 The back rests on the second gens are not because of slowing down as the 1st genner's know:no-no-no: It's the only thing which keeps us 2nd genners from sliding off the back on acceleration!!!!

Yeah....when you get old and slow it so much easier to lose your grip also.
SummerBreeze Posted November 14, 2013 Author #6 Posted November 14, 2013 You guys are just saying all these things because they are true (at least in your mind). As for me I love this site and look forward to many years of dealing with all of you. I just felt like I should say thanks to Don. Also I built my drivers backrest bracket and pad today, just need to install it on my bike. Again I say I would post pics if I knew how. Any sugestions?
sarges46 Posted November 14, 2013 #7 Posted November 14, 2013 Shared a few adult beverages with him at vogel a couple years back. He is a great guy and I can't wait to get together again.
