Well I have been x rayed, mri-ed and just about everything else they can do to keep getting my co-pays and finally getting some relief for my back and neck pain. I am a candidate to have the nerves in my back burned where the pain is coming from and as soon as this shot wears off in a month or two I will have that done. The surgery will be on my neck to fuse c4/c5-c5/c6 and remove the disks and bone spurs, had this done once 13 years ago on other disks below these. My vertabrae are degenerating badly and some may have to be removed completely and replace with spacers. Dec. 13th is the day, just happens to be a Fri too...........was the earliest he had open, gee I wonder why nobody wanted surgery that day??? So glad its goint to be winter soon and I won't miss being on the bike too much.:crying::crying: He did tell me this was not going to be as easy to get over as the first tiime I had it done, so didnt ask the question about resuming riding, guess I will wait till its over to find that out so I dont have to dwell on it.

We are waiting for the call for his next surgery. They are going to fuse the ankle this time. The other surgery didn't work quite the way they hoped. Cartilage only partially regrew and the bone plug disappeared. So this should take care of the pain he's in and he will have limited motion just not sure how much till he gets it done and has PT.

Cher and I are on the longgg list of folks praying for you (and your precious wife).. So glad to hear that some of the pain has lessened (hopefully this is what you implied about getting the shots).. We are both hoping and praying that the pain stays controllable up to the 13th of December.. Lay low buddie, we are all here praying for you!!
