Dragonslayer Posted November 13, 2013 Share #28 Posted November 13, 2013 We had I guess what would be referred to as a dusting of snow. I believe the near by grocery stores shelves were cleared of bread and also milk. Cincinnatians do not do well with snow. Yama Mama Dusting?????? Down here that would be a full blown blizzard
Flyinfool Posted November 13, 2013 Share #29 Posted November 13, 2013 Dusting?????? Down here that would be a full blown blizzard Blizzard?????? More like flurries. That ain't even enough SNOW to justify the gas to run the snow blower. Be careful mentioning blizzard, You could end up with Big Tom on your doorstep with that crazed look in his eyes and a spoon in his hand ....... ........ Along with a hundred others from this site........
Yama Mama Posted November 13, 2013 Share #30 Posted November 13, 2013 That was just a photo of snows gone by! We did not even use the snow blower last year. I could have used a broom for this one. Sure had a hard time explaining to our 2 year old grandson, it was too cold to go out and ride his bike. This could take some time to get through to him. Flyinfool Posted November 13, 2013 Share #31 Posted November 13, 2013 Sometimes experience is the best teacher. Or he could end up liking the snow and cold, then you will have to take him out even more.
CaptainJoe Posted November 13, 2013 Share #32 Posted November 13, 2013 My God Man... Learn to ski or board, That would mean I'd have to be out in the snow.....WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEAD??? :rotf:Read my original post "I HATE SNOW"......... Nothing... When life hands you lemons... make lemonade... Or snow cones in your case...Ha! Use to hate snow, mainly because i got to shovel it at least once a day, back in Portage Pa. Then a friend got me to try skiing and I loved it. Couldn't wait to get off work to ski... Then came the snowmobiles etc... (Think motorcycle with skis... They are tons of FUN!) Don't get me wrong, I still find no joy in shoveling snow. Purchased an electric winch and snow plow for my four wheeler and now it's more like play than work. Hey, you can't take it with you:mo money:
