Prairiehammer Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Posted November 11, 2013 WTB: Bushtec Turbo+2. Black is preferred, but if the price and location are good, well, you know.
M61A1MECH Posted November 12, 2013 #2 Posted November 12, 2013 Bustec has a few on their used list, here is link. http://www.bushtec.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventory Also check out this Delphi forum, sometimes there trailers listed. http://forums.delphiforums.com/MCTrailertowing
Condor Posted November 12, 2013 #3 Posted November 12, 2013 Keven you might want to keep an eye on Craigslist. Locally there have been a few for sale. One down in the teens. Can't remember if they were the turbo+2 or not...
Prairiehammer Posted November 12, 2013 Author #4 Posted November 12, 2013 Keven you might want to keep an eye on Craigslist. Locally there have been a few for sale. One down in the teens. Can't remember if they were the turbo+2 or not... I do check various classifieds internet sites frequently. Bushtec made their trailers in California at one time. That may be why there seem to be more on the West Coast than in the Midwest? But, it is rather impractical to buy a trailer so far away. As an aside: Folks sure seem to be very proud of their 15 year old Bushtec's.
Condor Posted November 12, 2013 #5 Posted November 12, 2013 As an aside: Folks sure seem to be very proud of their 15 year old Bushtec's. Ain't that the truth..... That's because they only used it 15 times and want their money back out of it.... Kinda like a Harley owner....
Midrsv Posted November 12, 2013 #6 Posted November 12, 2013 There are a couple of black ones on Ebay right now http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUSHTEC-TURBO-PULL-BEHIND-MOTORCYCLE-TRAILER-/141110887118?forcerrptr=true&hash=item20dadd42ce&item=141110887118&pt=Motors_Trailers http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUSH-TEC-PULL-BEHIND-TOURING-TRAILER-FOR-MOTORCYCLE-/151160307938?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2331db40e2&item=151160307938&pt=Motors_Trailers You also might post a note on some of the Goldwing sites. I love my Bushtec. Dennis

I love my Bushtec. Dennis Yep, I've seen both. But, both are rather distant. What model do you have? Would you post a pic of the interior? Not much in the way of interior shots from Bushtec nor from any of the classified ads. Edited November 12, 2013 by Prairiehammer
Midrsv Posted November 12, 2013 #8 Posted November 12, 2013 Kevin, I'm not at home so I don't have access to all of my photos. I have a some galleries on my web site that will have a few photos of the trailer. Just browse through the indexes and you should find a few. http://www.traynorphoto.com/WC2011 http://www.traynorphoto.com/glacier_2012 Let me know if you have any other questions. Dennis

And.... it's only about 800+ miles away.... just an afternoon ride...
CaptainJoe Posted November 13, 2013 #10 Posted November 13, 2013 That second one in Texas looks pretty nice, and if the price holds it could be a deal. And.... it's only about 800+ miles away.... just an afternoon ride... Perhaps something to promote Venture West?
Condor Posted November 13, 2013 #11 Posted November 13, 2013 Perhaps something to promote Venture West? From the looks things we're doing great in the promotion dept. Besides even if we did have a trailer raffle, I'd win it anyway.....
CaptainJoe Posted November 13, 2013 #12 Posted November 13, 2013 Na... I meant more along the lines that Kevin could pay for it now and pick up at Venture west.
sandman Posted November 13, 2013 #13 Posted November 13, 2013 Got lots to learn. I thought He really wanted to spank some HD's . thought it was a turbo
Prairiehammer Posted November 13, 2013 Author #14 Posted November 13, 2013 Got lots to learn. I thought He really wanted to spank some HD's . thought it was a turbo Sandy, you KNOW we don't need no stinkin' turbo to spank them thar Harleys. Now, those Second Gen guys may have a different opinion/need.
stickhandle2 Posted November 13, 2013 #15 Posted November 13, 2013 Sandy, you KNOW we don't need no stinkin' turbo to spank them thar Harleys. Now, those Second Gen guys may have a different opinion/need. This Second Gen guy doesn't need a turbo..... I spank the Harleys and then go back and pick up the pieces that have fallen off. Maybe the Harleys up here are slower, but I don't think so.
sandman Posted November 14, 2013 #16 Posted November 14, 2013 Since they named it that, why not include a turbo with trailer kit? Wow blowing HD,s into weeds while riding double with full bags and trailer in tow. Now that is a statement.
JohnT Posted November 14, 2013 #17 Posted November 14, 2013 This Second Gen guy doesn't need a turbo..... I spank the Harleys and then go back and pick up the pieces that have fallen off. Maybe the Harleys up here are slower, but I don't think so. They're just slow any where they are. But they are . Disclaimer,,, for the obscene money paid for them, they sound like $1,000,000.
Bob Myers Posted November 15, 2013 #18 Posted November 15, 2013 Keven you might want to keep an eye on Craigslist. Locally there have been a few for sale. One down in the teens. Can't remember if they were the turbo+2 or not... Using Search Tempest, and searching all Craigslist ads there was not a single one for sale in less than 4000 miles from Kevin! People must buy these things and take them to their grave with them. There is one on Delphi forums for sale; http://forums.delphiforums.com/MCTrailertowing/messages/?ctx=16&listMode=6
Prairiehammer Posted November 18, 2013 Author #19 Posted November 18, 2013 I would think he would consider selling his old Bushtec (in silver) to me. I realize it is not a Turbo+2, but I could manage. What say, Don?
Freebird Posted November 18, 2013 #20 Posted November 18, 2013 I think I can have it painted cheaper than I can replace it.
Prairiehammer Posted November 18, 2013 Author #21 Posted November 18, 2013 I think I can have it painted cheaper than I can replace it. Ah well, I tried. My old trailer has been "refurbished" enough to sell on eBay. Anyone with some fiberglass repair and painting skills may want to take a look: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310795736509?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Kittanning, Pennsylvania is just a bit too far away for me.
